Mia Tarney

Mia Sarah Tarney was born in Surrey in 1973. She was educated at Heatherley's School of Fine Art 1998 - 2001, obtaining a Diploma in Portraiture and Figurative Painting. Mia was brought up in Richmond in a creative environment with her father being a musician and her brother in the film industry.

During her time at Heatherley's School of Fine Art Mia was selected, along with two other artists, to represent the school at the Kensington and Chelsea Mayor's Fine Art Award. At her final year Portrait Diploma exhibition she won a commendation from the Royal Society of Portrait Painters.
