Kate Wyatt

Kate Wyatt was brought up in Somerset & Dorset, where she developed a deep love of the countryside, and particularly the wild animals which inhabit the land - badgers, hares and other species.

Best known for her unique portrayal of these wild creatures, Kate begins each painting with numerous preparatory sketches, from which Kate develops a line drawing and gradually builds up colour and texture using mixed media to reflect each animals environment.

Kate studied at Bournemouth & Poole College of Art and has had numerous exhibitions throughout the South West of England and in London. She has also undertaken several commissions for customers in the United States of America, Canada & Australia.
